Sunset, Spirits and Sliders with Sunny Anderson @FoodandWineAC

After the heatwave in the tri-state area the last few weeks, having a rooftop pool party seemed an excellent idea !! And, Sunset, Spirits and Sliders hosted by celebrity chef, Sunny Anderson, was the party to go last Saturday.

The evening started with the DJ pumping Top 40 dance tunes while Sunny Anderson got mobbed by fans as she made her way around the deck. Come to think of it, she barely moved from her spot in front of the bar as fans kept coming up to say hello.

It was dinner time so the servers with trays of mouth watering sliders were immediately encircled by hungry guests as soon as they came into the party area. There were 3 types of sliders: regular beef slider, mini-slider with white meat and a dessert slider with a fruity jam. The bar was under a pantheon inspired structure. Too bad, the bar ran out of Sunny’s Watermelon Mojitos an hour into the party. I grabbed the few remaining glasses of Sans Souci Punch - they were so delicious !! I’m sure the mojitos were equally if not more delicious.

Sans Souci Punch Recipe: Cruzan Single Barrel Rum, Orange Juice, Pineapple Juice, Ginger Ale, Sweet & Sour Mix, Sugar and Nutmeg.
