Why are those food which are bad for your health taste soooooo good?
The ultimate indulgence of all things that’s bad for you was celebrated tonight at the Standard Hotel with Thrillist’s Bacon & The Blues Bash. The Ultimate Chef, Tyler Florence hosted the bash and looked so cool in his bomber jacket. Our favorite munchies were The Mott’s Bacon Slab and Fried Oysters, the Braeburn’s Bacon Wrapped Quail Dog and the Bacon Donut from 675 Bar. To satisfy our cravings, we went back for not just seconds but thirds.
We couldn’t ask for a better evening. We tapped our feet to catchy live blues tunes by The Crooners. We munched on bacon over and over again then washed it down with Canadian Club Whiskey with soda. And, we want to do it again next year.
